Basement Room Demolition
After a pipe broke and leaked in an upstairs bathroom, the water inevitability made its way to the room below. This required the ceiling grid and tiles to be removed, as they were damaged by the falling water. Half of the room required all of the drywall to be removed, while the other half only required the bottom two feet of drywall to be removed. The carpet and padding were also disposed of. As for the contents in the room, we were able to restore the non-porous items, but items like the fabric chairs were ultimately non-salvageable. Once the affected materials were removed, dehumidifiers and air movers were set up to dry the structure after anti-microbial was applied to all affected materials.
