Basement Water Damage due to Broken Pipe 2
The drywall in this basement was so saturated that it could not support the anchor that was used to install the pool cue holder. This resulted in the anchor ripping out of the wall and the pool cues falling all over the wet carpet. The drywall, carpet, and ad had to be removed as they were saturated. Dehumidifiers were used to dry out the wet framing behind the drywall. The pool cues were not able to be salvaged, but fortunately the billiard table itself was able to be saved. That, along with the other salvageable contents, was cleaned, protected with plastic and bubble wrap, and stored in an unaffected room of the home.
